Aesop’s Fables – Der Wolf und das Kind
There was once a baby Goat. He was growing horns and he was very proud of his horns.
He thought, “I have such big horns. I surely must be a grown up Goat now and not a baby. I shall be able to take care of myself.”
TranslateEs gab einmal ein Ziegenbaby. Ihm wuchsen Hörner und es war sehr stolz auf seine Hörner.
Er dachte: „Ich habe so große Hörner. Ich muss jetzt sicher eine erwachsene Ziege sein und kein Kind. Ich werde auf mich selbst aufpassen können. “
One day, when his flock of goats were going back home, he decided to stay longer and eat. His mother called out, “All of my children, come fast. We must reach home before the sunset. After the sunset, the wolf will come.”
The Kid thought, “Hahaha. No one can harm me when I have such big horns.”
TranslateEines Tages, als seine Ziegenherde nach Hause zurückkehrte, beschloss er, länger zu bleiben und zu essen. Seine Mutter rief: „Alle meine Kinder, kommt schnell. Wir müssen vor Sonnenuntergang nach Hause kommen. Nach dem Sonnenuntergang wird der Wolf kommen. “
Der Junge dachte: „Hahaha. Niemand kann mir schaden, wenn ich so große Hörner habe. “
Thinking such foolish thoughts, he continued to eat. A little later when he wanted to leave, he saw that his flock had already left.
TranslateEr dachte an so dumme Gedanken und aß weiter. Wenig später, als er gehen wollte, sah er, dass seine Herde bereits gegangen war.
He was alone. He was all alone. He was frightened. The sun was sinking and it was becoming dark. He did not know the way back too. He started bleating loudly for his mother.
“BAAAAAAAAHHHHH! BAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!”
TranslateEr war alleine. Er war ganz alleine. Er hatte Angst. Die Sonne ging unter und es wurde dunkel. Er kannte auch den Rückweg nicht. Er begann laut nach seiner Mutter zu blöken.
His mother did not hear him but do you know who did? It was the big bad wolf. The wolf was very nearby and came to hunt. The kid saw how big the Wolf was and was terrified. The kid knew that there was no more hope for him.
TranslateSeine Mutter hat ihn nicht gehört, aber wissen Sie, wer es getan hat? Es war der große böse Wolf. Der Wolf war ganz in der Nähe und kam zur Jagd. Der Junge sah, wie groß der Wolf war und hatte Angst. Der Junge wusste, dass es keine Hoffnung mehr für ihn gab.
The wolf said, “Ah, such a wonderful dinner, and that too without a hunt. Today is my lucky day.”

The kid thought of a cunning plan. He was still trembling when he said:
“Mr Wolf. I know that you are going to eat me. But before you eat me, can you please play me a tune with your lovely voice. I wish to dance one last time. I wish to be merry one last time before I am eaten.”
TranslateDer Junge dachte an einen listigen Plan. Er zitterte immer noch, als er sagte:
„Herr Wolf. Ich weiß, dass Sie mich fressen werden. Aber bevor Sie mich fressen, können Sie mir bitte eine Melodie mit Ihrer schönen Stimme vorspielen. Ich möchte ein letztes Mal tanzen. Ich möchte ein letztes Mal fröhlich sein, bevor ich gefressen werde.“
The wolf thought that it was a very good idea. No one had ever asked him to sing before. He sang loudly.
“AAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOO! AAA AAA AOOOOOOOOOO!!”
TranslateDer Wolf fand, dass es eine sehr gute Idee war. Niemand hatte ihn jemals zuvor gebeten zu singen. Er sang laut.
„AAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! AAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOO !! ”
The Kid danced loudly bleating. The dogs could not have heard the sound of the baby Goat but a wolf’s sound before his feast, they could not mistake. All of the dogs ran at full speed towards the direction of the sound.
TranslateDer Junge tanzte laut und meckernd. Die Hunde konnten das Geräusch des Ziegenbabys nicht hören, aber das Geräusch eines Wolfes vor seinem Festmahl konnten sie nicht verwechseln. Alle Hunde rannten mit voller Geschwindigkeit in Richtung des Geräusches.
The wolf saw that they were coming and had to leave the Kid and run for his own life. He thought:
TranslateDer Wolf sah, dass sie kamen und musste das Kind verlassen und um sein eigenes Leben rennen. Er dachte:
“What a fool I am? I am a hunter and I should hunt. I should not have wasted my time trying to sing.”
Translate„Was für ein Idiot ich bin? Ich bin ein Jäger und ich sollte jagen. Ich hätte meine Zeit nicht damit verschwenden sollen, zu singen. “
