Once upon a time, Birbal’s child was throwing a tantrum at home. Birbal was a good father and he stayed at home and calmed his child. Because of this, Birbal was late to court.
Akbar was very displeased. Akbar valued punctuality a lot.
Akbar said, “You know that I do not like it when you come late. Why are you late to court today?”

Akbar sagte: „Sie wissen, dass ich es nicht mag, wenn Sie zu spät kommen. Warum kommen Sie heute zu spät vor Gericht? “
Birbal said, “My King, my child was crying a lot and throwing a tantrum. I wanted to calm my baby down before I came to work.”
Akbar said, “How long did it take to calm your child? Do not tell me it took all morning!”
Birbal said, “Indeed it took all morning, my King.”
TranslateBirbal sagte: „Mein König, mein Kind hat viel geweint und einen Wutanfall bekommen. Ich wollte mein Baby beruhigen, bevor ich zur Arbeit kam. “
Akbar sagte: „Wie lange hat es gedauert, Ihr Kind zu beruhigen? Sagen Sie mir nicht, dass es den ganzen Morgen gedauert hat! “
Birbal sagte: „In der Tat hat es den ganzen Morgen gedauert, mein König.”
Akbar said, “I am disappointed in you. I think you know nothing about child rearing.”
Birbal said, “My King. Let us play a game. I shall pretend to be a child and you can pretend to be my father. I will show you what a child’s tantrum is.”
TranslateAkbar sagte: „Ich bin enttäuscht von Ihnen. Ich glaube, Sie wissen nichts über Kindererziehung. “
Birbal sagte: „Mein König. Lassen Sie uns ein Spiel spielen. Ich werde so tun, als wäre ich ein Kind, und Sie können so tun, als wären Sie mein Vater. Ich werde Ihnen zeigen, was der Wutanfall eines Kindes ist. ”
Akbar said, “Go on. Pretend to be a child and I shall act as your father! I will show you how you should have dealt with your child. Ask me for whatever he asked of you.”
Birbal said, “I want a cow! I want a cow now!” Saying so, Birbal started to scream and cry loudly.
TranslateAkbar sagte: „Weiter. Geben Sie vor, ein Kind zu sein, und ich werde als Ihr Vater handeln! Ich werde Ihnen zeigen, wie Sie mit Ihrem Kind hätten umgehen sollen. Fragen Sie mich nach dem, was er von Ihnen verlangt hat. ”
Birbal sagte: „Ich will eine Kuh! Ich will jetzt eine Kuh!” Als Birbal dies sagte, fing er an zu schreien und laut zu weinen.
Akbar ordered a cow to be brought into the palace immediately.
“What will I do with a cow? I want its milk. I want its milk,” said Birbal, crying like a small child and cried even more loudly.
TranslateAkbar befahl, sofort eine Kuh in den Palast zu bringen.
„Was mache ich mit einer Kuh? Ich will ihre Milch. Ich will ihre Milch”, sagte Birbal, weinte wie ein kleines Kind und weinte noch lauter.
Akbar ordered the servant, “Milk the cow and give to him”
The cow was milked and the milk was offered to Birbal. Birbal calmed down and drank a sip of milk. He gave the bowl back to Akbar.
TranslateAkbar befahl dem Diener: “Melke die Kuh und gib ihm”
Die Kuh wurde gemolken und die Milch wurde Birbal angeboten. Birbal beruhigte sich und trank einen Schluck Milch. Er gab Akbar die Schüssel zurück.
“I don’t want this milk any more. Put the rest of it back into the cow! Put it back! Put in back! Put it back!” cried Birbal loudly.
The emperor was flabbergasted and said, “Ok Birbal. You win.”.
Translate“Ich will diese Milch nicht mehr. Geben Sie den Rest zurück in die Kuh! Geben Sie sie zurück! Geben Sie sie zurück! Geben Sie sie zurück!” rief Birbal laut.
Der König war verblüfft und sagte: „Ok Birbal. Sie gewinnen.”.
