Aesop’s Fables – Die Krähe und der Krug
Once upon a time, it was summer and the land was very dry. A crow was very thirsty and flew around searching for water. Soon he found a small pitcher containing very little water.
The crow said, “CAW CAW. Look, a pitcher of water. I can finally have a drink”.
TranslateEs war einmal Sommer und das Land war sehr trocken. Eine Krähe war sehr durstig und flog herum und suchte nach Wasser. Bald fand er einen kleinen Krug mit sehr wenig Wasser.
Die Krähe sagte: „CAW CAW. Schau, ein Krug Wasser. Ich kann endlich etwas trinken “.
He put his head down the pitcher. The crow could not reach the water. He felt more and more thirsty and did not know what to do.
“CAW CAW! The water is still too deep. What should I do?”
TranslateEr legte den Kopf in den Krug. Die Krähe konnte das Wasser nicht erreichen. Er fühlte sich immer durstiger und wusste nicht, was er tun sollte.
„CAW CAW! Das Wasser ist immer noch zu tief. Was soll ich machen?”
The crow looked around and found a mud patch having number of pebbles. Then he got a brilliant idea.
TranslateDie Krähe sah sich um und fand einen Schlammfleck mit mehreren Kieselsteinen. Dann kam ihm eine geniale Idee.
He flew to the mud patch. FLAP! FLAP!
He picked up one pebble with his beak. He hopped over to the jug.
HOP! HOP! HOP! And then he dropped the stone into the pitcher.
The water was still too deep.
TranslateEr flog zum Schlammfleck. KLAPPE! KLAPPE!
Er hob einen Kieselstein mit seinem Schnabel auf. Er sprang zum Krug.
HOPF! HOPF! HOPF! Und dann ließ er den Stein in den Krug fallen.
Das Wasser war immer noch zu tief.

He picked up the second pebble with his beak. He hopped over to the jug.

He did this many times. For each pebble, the water was rising slowly. Finally the water was high enough. The crow could reach the water and have its fill of water.
TranslateEr hat das viele Male getan. Für jeden Kiesel stieg das Wasser langsam an. Schließlich war das Wasser hoch genug. Die Krähe könnte das Wasser erreichen und sich mit Wasser füllen.
