Aesop’s Fables – Die Gans und das goldene Ei

 

Once upon a time, there lived a very poor man who had a Goose. He loved the goose and took care of it very well. The Goose was very happy with him.

Es war einmal ein sehr armer Mann, der eine Gans hatte. Er liebte die Gans und kümmerte sich sehr gut darum. Die Gans war sehr glücklich mit ihm.

 

 

One day when the man came to see his goose, he saw that the goose had laid a beautiful golden egg. The poor man was very happy. He sold the egg in the market and made a bag of money. He purchased a big bag of tasty grain for his friend, the Goose.

Eines Tages, als der Mann zu seiner Gans kam, sah er, dass die Gans ein schönes goldenes Ei gelegt hatte. Der arme Mann war sehr glücklich. Er verkaufte das Ei auf dem Markt und verdiente eine Tüte Geld. Er kaufte eine große Tüte leckeres Getreide für seinen Freund, die Gans.

 

He said to the Goose, “I am so happy. Thank you for the golden egg. I can now take care of you even better.”

The next day the Goose was so happy it laid a second golden egg. The man was not poor now but he was very happy. He sold the egg in the market and made a second bag of money. He purchased a bigger bag of tasty grain for his friend, the Goose.

Er sagte zu der Gans: „Ich bin so glücklich. Danke für das goldene Ei. Ich kann mich jetzt noch besser um dich kümmern. “

Am nächsten Tag war die Gans so glücklich, dass sie ein zweites goldenes Ei legte. Der Mann war jetzt nicht arm, aber er war sehr glücklich. Er verkaufte das Ei auf dem Markt und verdiente eine zweite Tüte Geld. Er kaufte eine größere Tüte leckeres Getreide für seinen Freund, die Gans.

 

 

He said to the Goose, “I am so happy. Thank you for the two golden eggs. I can now take care of you even better.”

The goose started to lay a golden egg every day and the man became very rich. The man became very greedy.

Translate

Er sagte zu der Gans: „Ich bin so glücklich. Danke für die zwei goldenen Eier. Ich kann mich jetzt noch besser um dich kümmern. “

Die Gans legte jeden Tag ein goldenes Ei und der Mann wurde sehr reich. Der Mann wurde sehr gierig.

 

 

He thought, “I still do not have enough money. Maybe if I cut the Goose, I can take out all the golden eggs and become very rich.”

Translate

Er dachte: „Ich habe immer noch nicht genug Geld. Wenn ich die Gans schneide, kann ich vielleicht alle goldenen Eier herausnehmen und sehr reich werden. “

 

 

The man killed the Goose and cut it open. There were no golden eggs inside the Goose. Also all the gold coins he had earned disappeared. The man became poor once again and his friend, the Goose, was dead.

Der Mann tötete die Gans und schnitt sie auf. In der Gans waren keine goldenen Eier. Auch alle Goldmünzen, die er verdient hatte, verschwanden. Der Mann wurde wieder arm und sein Freund, die Gans, war tot.
