Aesop’s Fables – Der Fuchs und die Krähe
Once upon a time, there was a fox who lived in the woods. One day he was walking around the forest searching for something to eat when he saw a crow sitting on top of a tree. The crow was holding a very large piece of cheese in its mouth.
TranslateEs war einmal ein Fuchs, der im Wald lebte. Eines Tages ging er durch den Wald und suchte nach etwas zu fressen, als er eine Krähe auf einem Baum sitzen sah. Die Krähe hielt ein sehr großes Stück Käse im Mund.
The fox thought, “Such a tasty piece of cheese. I must trick this crow and eat the cheese for my breakfast.”
He sat down under the crow and stared up. He looked as if he was admiring the crow.
TranslateDer Fuchs dachte: „So ein leckeres Stück Käse. Ich muss diese Krähe austricksen und den Käse zum Frühstück fressen. “
Er setzte sich unter die Krähe und starrte auf. Er sah aus, als würde er die Krähe bewundern.
“Oh wow. What a beautiful creature you are?”
The crow stared at him very suspiciously. No one had called her beautiful before. She did not open her mouth.
Translate„Oh wow. Was für eine schöne Kreatur bist du? “
Die Krähe starrte ihn sehr misstrauisch an. Niemand hatte sie zuvor als schön bezeichnet. Sie öffnete den Mund nicht.
The fox continued, “How beautiful you look. You have such an even tone on all your feathers. How beautifully they shine. Such a beautiful bird must have a very lovely voice, since she seems to be perfect in beauty. Will she sing for me in her lovely voice? Maybe he voice will be so beautiful that I shall call her the queen of birds?”
TranslateDer Fuchs fuhr fort: „Wie schön du aussiehst. Du hast einen so gleichmäßigen Ton auf all Ihren Federn. Wie schön sie leuchten. So ein schöner Vogel muss eine sehr schöne Stimme haben, da sie in ihrer Schönheit perfekt zu sein scheint. Wird sie mit ihrer schönen Stimme für mich singen? Vielleicht ist seine Stimme so schön, dass ich sie die Königin der Vögel nennen werde? “
The crow was flattered. She had never been praised so much before. She wanted to be called as the queen of birds. She spread her wings, opened her mouth and uttered her loudest caw
“CAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWW”
TranslateDie Krähe war geschmeichelt. Sie war noch nie so sehr gelobt worden. Sie wollte als Königin der Vögel bezeichnet werden. Sie breitete die Flügel aus, öffnete den Mund und stieß ihr lautestes Krächzen aus
„CAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWW”
The cheese fell off her beak straight into the mouth of the Fox.
The fox ate the cheese and went on its way.
TranslateDer Käse fiel von ihrem Schnabel direkt in den Mund des Fuchses.
Der Fuchs fraß den Käse und machte sich auf den Weg.
