Aesop’s Fables – Der Bauer und die Schlange
Once upon a time, there was a kind farmer who lived in a village. He was nice to everyone and every animal. He was nice even to his enemies. He was nice to people even when they hurt him.
One cold winter day, the farmer was walking through the village. He saw a Viper lying on the ground. The Viper was motionless. It was stiff with the cold.
TranslateEs war einmal ein freundlicher Bauer, der in einem Dorf lebte. Er war nett zu allen und jedem Tier. Er war sogar nett zu seinen Feinden. Er war nett zu Menschen, auch wenn sie ihn zu Leid taten.
An einem kalten Wintertag ging der Bauer durch das Dorf. Er sah eine Viper am Boden liegen. Die Viper war bewegungslos. Es war steif vor Kälte.
The farmer knew how deadly the snake was. But he was very kind. He decided that he would nurture the snake back to health. He took the snake to his home. The snake revived and bit the farmer. The farmer was in so much pain that he thought that he would die.
TranslateDer Bauer wusste, wie tödlich die Schlange war. Aber er war sehr nett. Er beschloss, die Schlange wieder gesund zu machen. Er brachte die Schlange zu sich nach Hause. Die Schlange belebte sich und biss den Bauern. Der Bauer hatte so große Schmerzen, dass er dachte, er würde sterben.
The man thought, “I have learned my lesson. The snake is a snake and its nature can never change. I should not take pity on a scoundrel.”
TranslateDer Mann dachte: „Ich habe meine Lektion gelernt. Die Schlange ist eine Schlange und ihre Natur kann sich nie ändern. Ich sollte kein Mitleid mit einem Schurken haben. “
