Aesop’s Fables – Der Affe und der Schönheitswettbewerb
Once upon a time, there was a great forest where all the animals lived together in harmony. The lion announced that there would be a beauty contest in the forest.

The monkey brought her own baby monkey which quietly stood on the stage. The baby monkey was not as cute as the puppy or the kitten or the cub.
TranslateDer Affe brachte ihr eigenes Affenbaby mit, das leise auf der Bühne stand. Der kleine Affe war nicht so süß wie der Welpe oder das Kätzchen oder das Jungtier.
The cat said, “Look at the baby money. He has a ugly flat nose! Haha. He is so ugly. He is not as cute as my kitten”
TranslateDie Katze sagte: „Schau dir das Babygeld an. Er hat eine hässliche flache Nase! Haha. Er ist so hässlich. Er ist nicht so süß wie mein Kätzchen. “
The bear said, “Look at the baby monkey. He has no hair! Haha. He is so ugly. He is not as fluffy as my cub”
TranslateDer Bär sagte: „Schau dir das Affenbaby an. Er hat keine Haare! Haha. Er ist so hässlich. Er ist nicht so flauschig wie mein Junges. “
The monkey said, “You all may say all the cruel jokes that you want. As far as I can see, all your babies are very ugly. My baby is the cutest, sweetest and dearest darling in the world”
