Aesop’s Fables – Der Löwe und der Mücken

 

Once upon a time, there lived a Gnat who was very arrogant. He would go around saying:

“I am the strongest in the forest! I can sting anyone. No one can even stop me since I am so fast!”

Translate

Es war einmal ein Mücke, der sehr arrogant war. Er würde herumgehen und sagen:

“Ich bin der Stärkste im Wald! Ich kann jeden stechen. Niemand kann mich aufhalten, weil ich so schnell bin! “

 

 

One day he decided that he would sting the Lion. The Lion was asleep he stung the lion directly on the face. The lion roared in pain.

Translate

Eines Tages beschloss er, den Löwen zu stechen. Da der Löwe schlief, stach er den Löwen direkt ins Gesicht. Der Löwe brüllte vor Schmerz.

 

“ROOOOAAAR!! Who was that! Who dares bite me?”

He swishes his paw left and right but the Gnat was much faster.

Translate

 “ROOOOAAAR !! Wer war das! Wer wagt es, mich zu beißen? “

Er schwenkt seine Pfote nach links und rechts, aber der Mücke war viel schneller.

 

 

“Go away! Stop bothering me!” shouted the lion.

“Haha. Do you think I’m afraid of you just because you are the king of the forest?”

Translate

“Geh weg! Hör auf mich zu belästigen!” schrie der Löwe.

“Haha. Glaubst du, ich habe Angst vor dir, nur weil du der König des Waldes bist? “

 

 

The Gnat moved fast and stung the lion on the nose. The Lion roared and struck fiercely at his own face. The Gnat escaped but the lion scratched himself with his own paws.

The lion said, “ROOOOAAAR!! That hurts so much! ROOOAAAAR”

Translate

Der Mücke bewegte sich schnell und stach dem Löwen in die Nase. Der Löwe brüllte und schlug wütend auf sein eigenes Gesicht. Der Mücke entkam, aber der Löwe kratzte sich mit seinen eigenen Pfoten.

Der Löwe sagte: „ROOOOAAAR !! Das tut so weh! ROOOAAAAR ”

 

Again and again the Gnat stung the Lion causing much pain. The Lion roared and roared. He scratched himself many times. Finally the Lion gave up the fight and walked away.

Translate

Immer wieder stach der Mücke den Löwen und verursachte große Schmerzen. Der Löwe brüllte und brüllte. Er kratzte sich viele Male. Schließlich gab der Löwe den Kampf auf und ging weg.

 

 

The Gnat flew fast to tell the whole world about its victory against the Lion. He accidentally flew into a spider’s web.

Translate

Der Mücke flog schnell, um der ganzen Welt von seinem Sieg gegen den Löwen zu erzählen. Er flog versehentlich in ein Spinnennetz.

 

 

The Gnat tried to fly away but he was stuck.

A spider came to him and said, “So, I am going to eat someone who defeated the Lion. I must be the greatest then.”

Translate

Der Mücke versuchte wegzufliegen, aber er steckte fest.

Eine Spinne kam zu ihm und sagte: „Also werde ich jemanden fressen, der den Löwen besiegt hat. Ich muss dann der Größte sein. “
