Aesop’s Fables – A ovelha e o lobo
Once upon a time, there was a great fight between a Wolf and a Bear. The Wolf was very tired at the end and was lying down, completely exhausted.
A Sheep was walking past when the Wolf called out, “Mr. Sheep. Mr. Sheep.”
TranslateEra uma vez uma grande luta entre um Lobo e um Urso. O Lobo estava muito cansado no final e estava deitado, completamente exausto.
Uma ovelha estava a passar quando o Lobo gritou: “Sr. Ovelha. Sr. Carneiro. ”
The Sheep immediately turned to run away when the Wolf said, “Please wait. I am very exhausted and cannot even walk.”
TranslateA Ovelha imediatamente se virou para fugir quando o Lobo disse: “Por favor, espere. Estou muito exausto e nem consigo andar. ”
The Sheep stopped so the Wolf said, “Can you please bring me some water? I am so tired that I need some water in order to even get up. Only after I have some water will I even have the strength to search for some food”
TranslateA Ovelha parou e o Lobo disse: “Pode trazer-me um pouco de água? Estou tão cansada que preciso de um pouco de água para até me levantar. Após de beber um pouco de água terei forças para procurar um pouco de comida. ”
The Sheep started to walk away saying, “If I bring you water, then you don’t have to search for food. I will become your food. Don’t ever ask me for water again”
TranslateA Ovelha começou a se afastar a dizer: “Se eu trouxer água, não precisa procurar comida. Eu vou-me tornar seu alimento. Nunca mais me peça água”
Moral: “A knave’s hypocrisy is easily seen through.”
TranslateMoral: “A hipocrisia de um patife é facilmente percebida.”
