Aesop’s Fables – O cachorro e as peles
There were a few dogs which lived in the village. In the village, there lived a tanner. The tanner used to make leather hides. The tanner had to take the leather and put them in the bottom a stream to soak. The dogs loved to eat leather. Leather was very tasty.

The first dog said, “WOOF WOOF! How do we steal the leather?”
The second dog said, “WOOF WOOF! We can jump inside and pull it out.”
The third dog said, “WOOF WOOF! We cannot do that. The hide is very heavy.”

The third dog said, “WOOF WOOF! That is such a clever plan. You are very smart.”

The three dogs started to drink the water. The dogs drank and drank and drank and drank.
The first dog said, “WOOF WOOF! Can we reach the hides?”
The second dog said, “WOOF WOOF! We have to drink some more.”
The third dog said, “WOOF WOOF! Yes. Yes. We have to drink some more.”
TranslateOs três cachorros começaram a beber a água. Os cães beberam e beberam e beberam e beberam.
O primeiro cachorro disse: “WOOF WOOF! Podemos alcançar as peles? ”
O segundo cachorro disse: “ARF! ARF! Temos que beber um pouco mais. ”
O terceiro cachorro disse: “WHOW! WHOW! Sim. Sim. Temos que beber um pouco mais. ”
And so they drank and drank and drank and drank until they burst. The water in the river did not reduce at all.

Moral: “Do not try to do impossible things.”
