Aesop’s Fables – Vargen i fårens kläder
Mr. Wolf was very hungry and was searching for food. He saw a shepherd herding a large number of sheep.
He thought, “Oh, lucky me. I shall have one of those sheep for lunch”.
TranslateHerr Varg var mycket hungrig och letade efter mat. Han såg en herde som slaktade ett stort antal får.
Han tänkte, ”Åh, tur mig. Jag ska ha ett av dessa får till lunch ”.
When he was near the sheep, they started to cry out loudly.
“BAAAAAAAH!! BAAAAAAAAAAH!!”
The farmer came with stick and chased the wolf away. The wolf was thinking of a plan to catch the sheep when he saw some sheepskin next to the trees.

“BÄÄÄÄÄÄÄH !! BÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄH !! ”
Bonden kom med en pinne och jagade bort vargen . Vargen funderade på en plan att fånga fåren, när han såg ett fårskinn bredvid träden.
“I have a cunning plan”, he said to himself.
He wore the sheepskin all around himself and he looked exactly like a sheep. He went in and all the sheep thought that the wolf was just another sheep. He quickly led one sheep away into the forest and killed it for lunch.
Translate”Jag har en listig plan”, sa han till sig själv.
Han band fårskinnet runt sig själv och han såg ut precis som ett får. Han gick in och alla fåren trodde att vargen bara var ett annat får. Han ledde snabbt ett får bort i skogen och dödade det till lunch.
The next day, he came to the same flock dressed like a sheep. The shepherd was walking around petting the sheep. Every time he pet a sheep, the sheep would say “BAAAAAAAAAH”
TranslateNästa dag kom han till samma hjord klädd som ett får. Herden gick runt och klappade fåren. Varje gång han klappar ett får, sa fåren “BÄÄÄÄÄH”
He soon came and pet the wolf, who tried to shout “BAAAAAAAAAH”. But can a wolf say “BAAAAAAAAAH”? No.
TranslateHan kom snart och klappade vargen, som försökte skrika ”BÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄH”. Men kan en varg säga ”BÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄH”? Nej.
The wolf said, “GROOOOOWL”
The wolf was caught and beaten by the shepherd. He did not come near the sheep ever again.
TranslateVargen sa ”vovrrr”
Vargen fångades och slogs av herden. Han kom aldrig nära fåren igen.
Moral: “The evil doer often comes to harm through his own deceit.”
Translate“Den som gör något ont skadas ofta genom sitt eget bedrägeri.”
